Families of baby loss

I am running the Manchester 10k on 26th May to raise money to donate to the Butterfly suite on the Labour ward at The Royal Oldham Hospital and Harold P Heywood, Wild & Brierley, T Collins & Son Family funeral services, to help support families during the loss of a baby.

For those that don’t know Tash and I were excited to find out in June 2023 we were expecting our 2nd child. Unfortunately our baby was diagnosed with Edwards syndrome and a heart condition and on the 20th September 2023 our hearts broke and worlds changed forever when our 2nd daughter Orla Jane was born sleeping at 18weeks gestation.

The butterfly suite on the Labour ward allowed us to spend time with Orla privately and Michael provided us with the most dignified funeral and has been a great support throughout.

We would like to make donations in memory of Orla so that families have access to blankets, memory boxes & books for parents & siblings to help them through the grief.

We appreciate money is tight for everyone at the moment so please don’t feel obligated to donate but any small contribution will go a long way.
