REBUILD: FAME Oakland Church Fire

Church Treasurer is organizing this fundraiser to benefit First African Methodist Episcopal Church.  
On Sunday, February 19th, a three-alarm fire catastrophically damaged our beloved church building. Completely engulfed in flames, the physical building is no more but God’s grace stands.

As the oldest African American church in Oakland, our victory will always come from and through our resilience. Let us remain in collective prayer as a community and a body of believers.

The Oakland Fire Department is still completing its investigation and the exact cause is still too early to decide. As a full assessment of the damage is completed, we are prepared to rebuild stronger and better than before.
