Fallon's Gift of Life
Donation protected
There are so many great and worthy causes...However, the continual need for organ donation, and awareness is exceedingly crucial. No one wants to talk about death; but there is a bright side when considering organ donation-through the selfless gift of organ donation you and your loved ones are enabling someone to live; and in a way, a part of your or your loved one lives on as well.
Myself and family, will travel from Michigan to Californian to participate in the 2019 Rose Bowl Parade-Give Live Organ donation float. Accommodations, food and event fees will be paid for with the funds raised.
Any donation helps this dream become a reality. Funds are needed by May 10th 2018.
There are no words to fully express my gratitude to have this opportunity. I was the 2nd and 4th liver transplant in the State of Georgia; and the first living survivor. To be able to participate in the Rose Bowl Parade on a national platform and bring awareness and spotlight to the need for donations now and in the future; this is a once in a lifetime opportunity I fully believe that I was given "The Gift of Life" twice for a reason; having graduated from Indiana University as a Social Worker, spent numerous hours volunteering, and having my two dogs trained as therapy dogs; it is my hope to be a Patient/Family Liaison for transplant families (both donors/ recipients).
I am a voice for many; being able to get my voice heard on a national platform is priceless. All who donate will know that they each played a huge role, in not only getting my voice heard, but the voices heard by so many that don't have their own voice. Organ donations saves lives, it saved mine and I am grateful everyday for 2nd chance at life.
