Help Meg Recover from accident

On Sunday September 28th, Meg Hardt, a local therapist and former school teacher who has devoted her entire career to helping others, suffered a tragic bicycle accident that resulted in her jaw being broken in three places along with significant dental damage. She underwent surgery on September 29th. Her surgery involved a metal plate being placed in her chin and her jaw will be wired shut for approximately two weeks. The dental damage that she suffered will not be fixable for approximately 6 weeks due to the need for her jaw to heal before the dental work can take place. Meg will be unable to work over the next month. As an independently contracted therapist, Meg does not have any disability coverage. We are hoping to help raise enough money to cover her dental costs so that she may have her teeth repaired and so that she can return to work where she is greatly needed. Meg is an amazingly talented and gifted Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works 6 days a week to assist children and adults in their healing journeys. Meg and her little boston terrier, Rudy, have brightened the lives of so many individuals who have struggled in this world. Those who know Meg speak of her kindness, her gentle nature, and her infectious laughter that could melt even the coldest heart.
