Fight against Lymphoma Cancer

I’ve gone back & forth trying to figure out how to type this I have been trying to keep this a secret because I did not want anyone to know…

My name is Bianca Rocha I am 24 yrs old. You may know me from school, or would see me out on the weekends, Sally’s, or I may have even done your hair. I love to go out and dance, be with my friends and family, be lazy with my dog slinky, but what I love most is doing hair!

For months with what was chest and shoulder pain that would sometimes keep me up all night that I would brush off and it would come back around causing more and more pain turned into something I could have never imagined. April 12th is the day that I will never forget! The pain in my chest and shoulder was unbearable which is when I decided to go to the hospital. There they did a CT scan and found a mass in my chest which was pushing against my heart & my lungs. I was recommended to a specialist who ordered a biopsy on the mass and after continuous X-rays, CT scans, MRIs & blood work in and out of the hospital it was May 6th.

May 6th was the day I got the results that I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer.

Shortly after being diagnosed on May 21st I started my first cycle of chemotherapy. So many mixed emotions, all the tears from the pain, afraid & anxious with so many things going through my mind I try to stay strong not only for myself but for my family too. I wish I could take a break from all of this and have what feels like my “old life”. 

I never would have thought that this would happen to me, but I am taking this day by day with faith in God and with the love and support of my friends and family. Doctors visits and treatment have gotten expensive, and due to the medication and chemo it has not allowed me to work and do what I love the most. I am asking for prayers and if you are able to donate, anything will help for my treatments and traveling expenses from Alice to San Antonio for going & coming to my doctors appointments.
