Erik is a son, grandson, cousin, friend, coach and a diehard WSU Cougar.    His senior year in high school he was diagnosed with a liver/autoimmune disease.     Unfortunately his health has declined significantly over the last couple months, requiring a hospital stay at UWMC and acceptance into the UW Transplant program.  His name has been added to the Transplant List and he hopes to have a new healthy liver by the end of year.

Erik is a hardworking individual who has most recenlty held two jobs while also dedicating a significant number of hours to coaching the Bothell High School Cross Country and Track teams.  Unfortunately, it is clear that Erik will not be able to work for quite some time in the future.  We are setting up this Gofundme page to try to alleviate the additional financial stress that he will experience due to his health.

Erik is proud and he was not easily convinced to allow us to set up this site.  But we know that many of you will want to help him during this difficult time in his life.   By donating you will make his life just a little easier over the course of this difficult journey.

One thing Erik would want us to tell you is that he will be spending a lot of time at the University of Washington, but that he will always stay true to Washington State (GO COUGS).
