Help me bring my parents home

Hi! my name is Kristy Diaz, and I am in the process of getting my parents to become legal residents in the U.S. However, the process to get them back home is costly, and we need all the help we can get.

 

In 2011, my father was deported to Venezuela, and we were separated as a family for a while. A couple of months later, my mother decided to move our whole family to Venezuela so we could all be together.

 

Unfortunately, the living situation in Venezuela became difficult and really dangerous. So my parents decided to send my youngest brother and I back to the U.S. for a better living condition and life. Since then, we have been living with our grandparents for 5 years here in the U.S. Fortunately my parents found a way to move to Colombia to get away from the dangers of Venezuela as well.

It has been very hard for all of us to be away from each other this long, and not be able to spend special moments like graduation, birthdays, holidays and even the recent loss of my grandfather (who is my moms dad).

 

It is my biggest life goal to petition for my parents to come back home to me, my brother, their parents (my grandparents), and all of our loved ones. I want to raise enough so I can pay towards a lawyer and government fees. Any proceeds would mean the world to me and my family so we can be reunited once again. ¡Hola! mi nombre es Kristy Diaz y estoy en el proceso de lograr que mis padres se conviertan en residentes legales en los EE. UU. Sin embargo, el proceso para que regresen a casa es costoso y necesitamos toda la ayuda que podamos obtener.

 En 2011, mi padre fue deportado a Venezuela y estuvimos separados como familia por un tiempo. Un par de meses después, mi madre decidió mudarse con toda la familia a Venezuela para que pudiéramos estar todos juntos.

 Desafortunadamente, la situación de vida en Venezuela se volvió difícil y realmente peligrosa. Así que mis padres decidieron enviarnos a mi hermano menor y a mí de regreso a los EE. UU. para tener una vida y unas condiciones de vida mejores. Desde entonces, hemos estado viviendo con nuestros abuelos durante 5 años aquí en los EE. UU. 

Afortunadamente, mis padres encontraron la manera de mudarse a Colombia para alejarse también de los peligros de Venezuela. Ha sido muy duro para todos nosotros estar separados tanto tiempo y no poder pasar momentos especiales como graduaciones, cumpleaños, vacaciones e incluso la reciente pérdida de mi abuelo (que es el papá de mi mamá). 

 Mi objetivo más grande en la vida es solicitar que mis padres regresen a casa conmigo, mi hermano, sus padres (mis abuelos) y todos nuestros seres queridos. Quiero recaudar lo suficiente para poder pagar los honorarios de un abogado y del gobierno. Cualquier ganancia significaría mucho para mí y mi familia para que podamos reunirnos una vez más.
