Prayers please.
Not very long ago my Step dad was diagnosed with stage 4a  Basal Cell Carcinoma cancer.
Since the diagnosis everything has moved rather quickly.
He had a surgery planned on last Wednesday but because of the Texas blizzard it is rescheduled for today.
This is an 11 hour surgery.
It’s in his chin his mouth and his lymph nodes.
They have to cut his throat from ear to ear. They have to grind the cancer out of him chin. They have to take tissue from his forearm and take bone from his leg to reconfigure his face. He will be in the hospital for 7 to 14 days He will be on a feeding tube. If all this goes well he will have to have chemo and radiation. He has to have some therapies including speech.
He has a very long road ahead of him.
Please please keep Robert Dooly in your prayers. Pray for his doctors, his surgeons, my mother, my sister.
They took him back for surgery at MD Anderson at 8. The surgery started at 10. We will get updates every couple of hours.
My mom is there with him but she cannot leave the whole time he is there or she can’t come back.
He hasn’t been able to work much in about a month. No telling when he can work again. I have never done a go fund me account but I’m seriously thinking about it. Robert doesn’t have the kind of job Podi does. If he isn’t there he doesn’t get paid. I have never asked any of my
