David Picklesimer was a loved man and co worker. He brought smiles to everyone that he met. To his students and coworkers at Siegel High School, he was known as Pickle or Mr. P. 

David was the loving husband to Sharon. Together they had 2 sons, Josh and Ethan. David also comes from a family who mostly all teach in Rutherford County. At county meetings we joke that they have their own section of seating. 

David loved teaching. He went to work everyday trying to make sure he made a difference in his students lives. He firmly believed in making a difference in students lives. He did this everyday. Despite the fears and concerns surrounding Covid19, David firmly believed he needed to be in the classroom. This is where he was in August. No fears, just wanting to educate his students. 

Sadly, in December, David contracted Covid19. Despite receiving treatment, David Picklesimer passed away on December 13, 2020. 

This fund was created to help support Mr. Picklesimer's family with additional expenses that will occur.
