Hi! My name is Grace Weachter, and I am fundraising for my senior thesis film, Exorcist in Training, a horror comedy short film!

The film follows Brennan, who's working to become a full-time exorcist, only thing preventing him is his lack of training. He is sent out on his first job, where an old woman is possessed by a meta-commentary demon named Mozzammaal, who ridicules Brennan for his incompetency, but the two soon find an understanding as people trying to make their way in their own worlds.

This short is inspired by films like Rocky Horror, What We Do in the Shadows, also of course The Exorcist, as well as my experience working in theater and on other projects. Throughout this fundraiser are mood boards I designed as inspiration for this project!

Crowdfunding for this film will help us ensure that we have enough money to pay for rentals, food for cast and crew, actors, as well as any other expenses that may come up during production. We're using a multi-talented crew dedicated to bringing this film to life, so we'd appreciate any donation you can provide for us!

This script has been something I've been working on for a while, and I'm very excited to bring it to life and show the world the work I've put in during my time at college. With your help, we can make this film a reality.
