The founder, designer and engineer behind Scotseal.

Scotseal, was the final major project of my degree, which has now become an award winning, emergency medical device. Designed for Zero-Responders (members of the general public, often untrained and inexperienced) to tackle major blood loss injury, & replace bleed control kits, the current method available to the public. These kits contain Tourniquets, Haemostatic Gauze & Chest Seals, all of which require prior training and experience.

This innovative product, will allow ‘YOU’ to save the life’s of others without training, medical knowledge or experience, in 4 simple steps and only 2-4 seconds.

Simply…

Peel seal 1 & place over the wound.

Pull seal 2, press down & twist. (This primes the device)

Pull number 3, It is now live. (Similar to pulling the pin on a grenade)

Then Press down!!!

This triggers an element within the pod, which mimics the exact shape and form of the wound. Meaning that wherever the rupture, or multiple ruptures are located. The self-seeking nature of the device finds them and provides direct pressure to the source, stopping any loss of blood & keeping them alive until medical help arrives.
