Every Animal Deserves Love – Help Us Help Them

Hi, my name is Janet, and I’m raising funds to help my son continue his life’s work—rescuing and caring for neglected animals, especially parrots and horses, please can you share this to help us?

“Since childhood, animals have been my world—especially horses and parrots. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into a life’s mission. Over the years, my partner and I have rescued countless animals: over 30 parrots (many with special needs), neglected horses, ex-racehorses, donkeys, and other abandoned souls. We’ve always funded everything ourselves—never asking for help, never taking holidays—just pouring love, time, and resources into saving animals others had given up on.

Our Suffolk home became a safe haven. We gave abused parrots proper care and dignity. We took in ex-racehorses destined for slaughter. We even rescued horses from horrific conditions abroad, exposing scams that preyed on kind-hearted donors.

But in 2021, everything changed. I suffered a life-threatening brain condition that left me unable to care for the animals. My partner became full-time carer, business owner, and my nurse—all at once. Then the cost-of-living crisis hit, and our resources crumbled.

We’ve reached a breaking point. The animals still need food, warmth, vet care, and love—things we’ve always fought to give them. On top of that, much of the equipment we rely on daily is old, breaking down, and desperately in need of replacement—from housing and fencing to feeding tools and cleaning gear. It’s becoming harder to maintain the safe environment they deserve.

This is the first time we’re asking for help. Not for us—but for them.
