Ethel’s knee surgeries
Donativo protegido
Many of you have known and loved Ethel since she was a tiny puppy peeing on the office floor. At only four years old, Ethel has had an accident and ruptured both of her cruciate ligaments in her back legs, and is now in need of double TPLO surgeries. This means that a surgeon will alter the structure of her knees so that she can live a normal life without those ligaments. Lucy has pet insurance, but they are only going to cover just shy of one of the procedures. As many of you know, especially WildCare folk, Ethel is an active, silly girl who has a knack for mischief. Being on bed rest has had a big impact on her quality of life and these surgeries are going to get her back to where she should be so she can return to enjoying her zoomies and jumping into pools.
For those who know Lucy, you know that she’s a hardworking person who is passionate about animals, especially Ethel. No matter what, she’s going to make sure Ethel gets whatever care she needs to be happy and healthy, but no one is financially prepared for medical issues like this in a four year old pup. If you’re able to give anything towards Ethel’s recovery it would take a load of the financial stress off of Lucy.
