Esther's Bench
Donation protected
We are coming upon the one-year anniversary of losing our beloved Esther Alexis. Losing her friendship, compassion, and mentoring is still felt by so many. She educated hundreds of children in New Orleans and inspired friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family.
Those who knew Esther, remember how incredibly special she was and how she made us all feel connected through her listening ear and open heart. We want to honor her spirit and mark a place in New Orleans where anyone can stop, ponder, and reflect, a place where one can go and just be quiet and hear their own inner voices, a place where one can go and remember Esther. We are raising money to sponsor a bench in New Orleans City Park that will include a plaque with her name and a few encouraging words for all to come, sit, and lay their burdens down.
Please consider making a donation to help memorialize Esther through this bench. We want the citizens of New Orleans and especially her students to see her name and continue to be inspired by her.
