Hi my name is Esme and I am fundraising for a trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe in July 2025 to support local schools and community groups in both countries. The tour is a collaboration between Esher Church of England High School and the Tag Rugby Trust (TRT). TRT empowers communities in Zimbabwe and Zambia through sports and education. The aim of the trip is to provide primary schools with the opportunity to learn to play Tag Rugby and compete in rugby festivals with up to 400 children to celebrate their success. In addition we will provide books, clothing, shoes and sports equipment and take part in community projects to improve their school environment.

As part of my fundraising efforts, I plan to walk from our school in Esher to Zimbabwe House in Trafalgar Square, London. It is a 33km walk. I will also be taking part in bake sales, sponsored walks and other joint fundraising activities.
