Help a Father and Son

I'm Gary, a 34 year old full time Soldier and former professional chef. Most importantly I am a husband and a father to an amazing son.

Two years ago my ex-wife moved and took my son 1200 miles away from me and where he was born. I tried to fight it, but wasn't able to keep him here. I spent the first year traveling to see him as often as I could and bringing him back home for my allotted holiday time. This cost me a lot of money that I didn't have and took a toll on our relationship.

One year ago I found out through CPS that my ex wife had been admitted to a rehabilitation center and that there had been concerns about her driving under the influence with our son in the vehicle. I have submitted and was granted a temporary restraining order twice and have spent all of my savings and maxed out my credit cards in trying to get my son back home to me where he has a safe and loving home environment.

We are moving forward with a trial with the attempt to modify custody and provide a stable life for my son.
