Erica Roman's Journey Forwards

It's been just over a year since I lost my husband to a heart attack only to discover that I was pregnant a couple days after the funeral. The loss of the man who I loved, coupled with the fact that I was now a widowed mother of not just one, but two children shattered me for a time. I'm just now beginning to pick up the pieces and move forward with my life again.

I've decided to leave my home in Florida and move back to Nashville where my husband and I lived for a couple years. Not only would it be a fresh start for me and my children, but as part of my healing process I want to attend the second year of the ministry school I went to in 2012.

It is my heart to turn the pain I've gone through this year into hope and healing for others. In order to do that I want to pursue wholeness and healing of the places still broken in my heart. Attending the ministry this fall would be a time set aside to intentionally to do just that.

The school runs Sept-May and ends with an opportunity to take an international trip where I will be able to share my story of beauty from brokenness.
