Support for Shannon

As you know, my sister Shannon is currently in the hospital with several complications on top of her terminal ALS diagnosis.

When she is discharged from the hospital (TBD), she will have a permanent feeding tube, and she is going to require some different things as far as care goes.

Something I believe will be helpful is a bed that can be elevated. Not necessarily a hospital bed, but one that is conducive to helping her breathe just by its ability to be lowered and raised. And a mattress that works with it.

I also don't think she and Eric have had new bedroom furniture (including a bed and mattress) for 20+ years. I've never liked it anyway (IYKYK!), so I think it might be a great time to do a simple bedroom makeover, and I was hoping her friends and family might want to assist me in this endeavor. I'm not talking fancy; her bedroom is rather small, so along the lines of practical, helpful and cheery.

Any funds we raise will go to the makeover and the multitude of medical expenses this beloved family has and will have to endure. I am hoping to turn this around quickly... in time for the Christmas season. Any donation anyone provides will be received with the utmost gratitude and my sincere and deep appreciation. As you can imagine, this is an extremely difficult time for us all.
