Cecilia Chiwaka has dedicated her life to helping the poorest people who are living in her community in the suburbs of Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. She has been providing this relief with whatever little funding she can get her hands on. Cecilia is our friend and we want to help her alleviate the suffering of at least some of the poorest children she is faced with everyday.
Zimbabwe has one of the highest unemployment rates in the world and many parents can´t afford the necessary fees for their children to go to school. The children who don`t go to school are not only missing out on learning how to read and write, in many cases they are left exposed to abuse, neglect and hunger on a daily basis. We want to give these children the hope that someday, with the education that they receive, they will have the chance to get work or go onto further college training and thus break the cycle of poverty that surrounds them.
30 of the most vulnerable children have been identified and our immediate aim is to raise 2500 EURO which will allow these children to go to school and will also provide funding for a regular porridge program to feed hungry and malnourished children.

Cecilia always provides complete transparency and accountability to her donors and contributors for every cent she receives. Contributors can feel confident that their money is actually reaching the neediest and making a really big difference.
