Empowering all women to vote

A project of The National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites, The National Votes for Women Trail is collecting sites from all over our country to allow us to tell the untold story of suffrage for all women, of all ethnicities, that extends well past the passage of the 19th amendment. We currently have 36 State Coordinators and over 800 sites on our database, which continues to grow at a rapid pace.  Our partner, The William G. Pomeroy Foundation, is complementing our efforts with the donation of 250 historic roadside markers nationally, which will designate sites on the Trail and send visitors to our website.

Your contribution will help design a website that makes the sites on our database easy to search for educators, researchers, and heritage tourists.  Our website designer is well qualified, and has also designed The National Women's Hall of Fame website.  The sooner we reach our goal, the sooner we will be able to start sharing the stories of the amazing suffragists we are discovering.  Thank YOU for empowering the next generation of voters with the inspiring stories of the suffragists who have fought for our rights.
