I have been selected to participate in the Youth of the Diaspora Alliance, a program within the African Diaspora Alliance. I’ve been a proud member since I was 12 years old, and this will be my third time traveling with them. This experience would allow me to explore my roots beyond the borders of the U.S., immersing myself in the rich history, culture, and traditions of the African diaspora.

On these transformative trips, we learn about history, connect with other youth from around the world, and engage directly with the vibrant communities we visit. These journeys are more than just travel—they are life-changing educational experiences that deepen my understanding of who I am and where I come from.
