Their advocacy efforts have gained momentum, marked by dedicated meetings, strategic discussions, and tangible progress in advancing legislation for a more equitable Illinois, from local communities to the state capital.

The fundraising goal will be allocated towards the following critical areas:
- Expungement Services: Funding a full-time attorney dedicated to providing record clearing services to individuals in Cook County.
- Policy Advocacy: Operation of the 501(c)4 organization, supporting the work of two part-time lobbyists.Funding for lobbyist fees and expenses, including working hours and trips to Springfield.
- CEIC Building: Rental of office space for the year 2024. Renovation of a building for CEIC's permanent relocation in 2024/25.
- Operations: Expansion of the organizing capacity, including hiring additional organizers and increase working hours. Establishment of organizers throughout Chicagoland to strengthen our community presence.
