Emily Eckman's Passing from Ovarian Cancer

On June 14, 2022, our sister, Emily Eckman, passed away unexpectedly after an almost 3-year battle with clear cell ovarian cancer. Emily was a devoted wife to Steven, and a loving mother to her twins, Tyler and Lyla (7).

 

This is a devastating loss to our family, but especially to her husband and children. Emily was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and advocate for ovarian cancer survivors. She had a magnetic personality, an incredible sense of humor, and a gift for making the people around her feel loved and welcomed, even when meeting for the first time.

 

Along with the emotional pain that her passing brings, it also brings financial burdens, including funeral costs and future expenses for Tyler and Lyla. We are trying to raise money to help with these costs. Any amount will help ease the financial burden for Steven, Tyler, and Lyla as they navigate life without Emily.
