Help Archie Walk Again:
Urgent Surgery Needed for my Boy
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. Archie, my 3.5-year-old French Bulldog, has always been the light of my life. With his playful spirit and larger-than-life personality, he's brought endless joy not just to me but to everyone he meets—human, dog, or otherwise. He's been my constant companion, and the love we share is something I can't even begin to put into words.
But right now, Archie is in immense pain. For the past three months, he's been resting at my parents’ home, recovering from a back injury. We thought things were improving, but late last night, his condition took a devastating turn. His disc slipped beyond repair, and Archie was rushed for emergency surgery. His pain is unbearable, and without this operation, he won’t stand a chance at recovery.
The worst part? His insurance won’t cover the surgery—it’s been deemed a pre-existing condition. The total cost is staggering, around £10,000, not including the aftercare he’ll need to make a full recovery.
I’m doing everything I can, even planning to skydive (a gift I received) in hopes of raising funds, but I’m already stretched to my limit financially.
Right now, I am terrified. Archie may not have a home to return to unless I can cover these medical costs, and the thought of losing him because of this is breaking me.
I would give anything to see him happy and healthy again, chasing after a ball or cuddling on the couch. I’m asking, from the bottom of my heart, for any help you can give. Even the smallest contribution could make a huge difference in Archie’s life and give us hope.
If I could, I’d be the first to donate to someone in need—I truly believe in the kindness of others, and right now, I’m hoping that kindness might help bring my boy back home.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for anything you can spare. With gratitude,
Liam and Archie
