Hi there, my husband was making deliveries when he stumbled upon what appears to be a cat colony behind a restaurant and near a motel. Some of the cats are friendly, while others are reserved. It's getting very cold in Chicagoland, and I don't have many resources. Many local rescues are done with trapping services and resources for the year. I'm trying to acquire traps so that I can cycle these cats to the vet and either release them back to the colony, or if they are sociable they can be adopted. I also need cat shelters to keep them warm because the brown cat in the picture was shaking today when a lady working with me went to check on the colony. There are about maybe 20 cats in total we estimate. We need help quickly before the temperature gets even colder. We appreciate all of your help. Please donate whatever you can to help us respond to this emergency.
