Elisabeth Byess College Fund

Mike Byess, loving husband and father of four, was admitted into the hospital on January 7th, 2018 after suffering from a heart attack. Expecting to be released from the hospital a week later, he  was hospitalized for almost 3 months. On March 25th, he was finally walking, talking, and eating -- it was planned for him to be released on the 28th. On the 27th, Mike Byess passed away, leaving behind a multitude of loved ones. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Whether it be as a father, grandfather, husband, preacher, friend, or teacher. He had a heart of gold, everyone who knew him knows that. 
Elisabeth Byess, 16 years old, is the youngest of the four Byess siblings. She has a strong, ambitious, inspiring, courageous heart. She is driven in her academics and seeks to go to college after she graduates from Cherokee High School. As a junior, she has plenty of time to prepare for college, but help is needed. Paying for college is expensive and any donation will be greatly appreciated. All donations made will be completely transferred into a college fund account, only available for Elisabeth to use for college related expenses (GA 529 Plan).  We would love for this to be a surprise to Elisabeth and her family, so please pass along this fundraiser discreetly.
