Elijah Gabriel Kidwell was hit and killed by a train in Redding, CA while waiting at the bus stop with his mom. He was 12 years old and in the 7th grade. Eli was sensitive and shy child. He was an only child, but acted as a big brother to his cousins who lived with him. Eli was smart, compassionate and loving. He liked to play basketball and enjoyed competing against himself and others in all things. Eli loved to play video games, ride his bike, play with his cousins and all other things boy. This is such a devastating loss to his family and all those who know him and would have known him had this not happened. Eli was his mom's life, as a single parent she tried to provide every need for him, she often called him after work to ask what he wanted her to pick up for dinner. As you can imagine she is unable to work at this point and has many costs as a result of this tragic event in her life. Please help Michelle to cover costs and get back on her feet as she grieves and heals from the loss of her only child. We love you Michelle and miss you Eli.
