For Rolph!
Rolph, my German Shepherd / Husky Mix suffered a ruptured disc on 2/7/12. Rolph is a spry guy with a lotta spring in his step and brings lots of joy to lots of people. This was a sudden injury that the Vet said could have happened from anything, a sudden movement or jerk, a quick hop down the steps, etc. Rolph was unable to use his hind legs, essentially paralyzed due to the ruptured disc pinching his spine. Jessica and I were left with a tough decision in the ER that morning; pay for emergency surgery OR make the hardest /heartbreaking decision any pet owner has to make. I think you know what I mean. Rolph is now in recovery and has regained some sense of feeling in his back legs, a great sign. We\'re not out of the woods yet, and we\'re praying that he will make a complete recovery after some rehab and TLC. This surgery was financed with money I don\'t have, now I\'m in a huge hole. I\'m asking friends and family that feel so inclined to donate to the cause. Whether it\'s one, two, or a three dollar donation, or a more generous one, ANYTHING helps and would be greatly appreciated by me and my best bud Rolph. I know money is tight everywhere for everyone, but if you can, we would be eternally grateful! Here\'s to you all and here\'s to ROLPH!
