Troy Stegman is a vibrant, smart, athletic graduate student pursing his PHD in psychology at William James University. Over the holidays, a swollen lymph node on his neck grew to over 3 inches in a matter of days. A week after Christmas they received the devastating news that it was Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Troy underwent his first surgery on January 22nd to remove the lymph node on his neck and is currently waiting on results of his PET Scan to determine the next course of action. Troy has moved back home to fight this battle and have family support through Chemo but has remained strong and positive and plans to continue his educational endeavors remotely. Nothing will stop Troy but as you can imagine, the treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma will cause physical, emotional, and financial strains on him and his family. Troy’s mother, Amy Lennon, is my friend and colleague and I can attest to the fact that she is an incredibly devoted, hard working single mom. It is my hope that with some financial support we can help Amy, Troy and the rest of their family put there focus where it belongs...kicking Cancer's butt! All funds raised will be used to help lessen the financial burden on Troy and his family as they continue to fight this battle.
