COVID 19 - India Relief Fund

India is in desperate need of help and support. 

They are contending with a massive spread of Covid-19 and the owners of this local restaurant, Kitchen With a Cause , is seeking donations to help local families in need of medical supplies and Oxygen.

Kitchen With a Cause (locally know as KWAC) is a restaurant that we started with a mission in mind - "To give back & help our society stand on its own feet."


KWAC is a social enterprise which started their journey helping rescued street children in collaboration with a few NGOs across Delhi.  The goal - give them an opportunity to earn a living by giving them paid internship.  KWAC is not an NGO but their support and contribution towards the society is commendable, they are on a mission to help the people in every possible way and with the help of each other we can shape and save our India again.


There are many many things that are required in India at the moment but the 2 most important things needed are


1) The first one is the abundant supply of oxygen cylinders in smaller cities and rural areas . Only big cities have the access to better facilities (still not even enough, but a bit more) but it is the small cities that needs more attention right now. Many people are clueless and helpless and don't know what to do or where to go . The government is trying its best but still not enough due to the population. They feel that India needs more oxygen asap or people will suffer even more.



2) The second are India's food supplies.. amid more lockdowns across India & people losing their jobs the situation is getting worse. A lot of people in India work on daily wages and now with no jobs again, many are either going hungry or forced to go out to try find any available work regardless of the risks of contracting Covid.  

Its an irony that on one side there is this virus and on the other side is hunger !! KWAC is on a mission to try and help as many people as they can . It's a mammoth task but even the slightest effort can matters in times like this. 

Hence why we have started this fundraiser program to try and take part in this fight against Covid. The attempt is to help as many families and individuals as they can.  They are setting a fundraiser goal of $20,000 because resources like oxygen, medical supplies and groceries are badly needed.

Please reach in your hearts and your pocket and find it in you to contribute whatever way you can.  Consider the your contribution in terms of the number of lives that can be saved, not in dollars.  If you can't give - then please share.  Spread the word and share this across your social Media.
