Eileen Clark Memorial Bike Ride
When Eileen past away last summer my children lost their favorite aunt. My wife, not only lost her youngest sister, she lost her closest friend.
There are too many people in my family and too many of my friends, neighbors and co-workers who have had their lives tragically upended because of breast cancer.
More needs to be done to find a cure for breast cancer. Let's all do what we can to give to a worthy cause so in the future mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, nieces and nephews will never have to deal with the loss of someone they love because of this disease.
The bike ride of 360 miles is symbolic of the 360 degrees in a circle. It represents the symbol of eternity and never-ending existence. It also symbolizes Heaven. It is also emblematic of God, suggesting not only the perfection of God but the everlasting God.
May the memories we have of Eileen forever be a blessing to all that knew and loved her.
