Eid in Tabora 2023!!

Our TLC children are eagerly looking forward to Eid celebrations again this year!!

This will be our third year holding festive Eid celebrations at our three TLC centres in Tanzania. With your help, we hope that it will be an event they can keep counting on to bring them joy, respite and fun each year!

This year, we will be raising funds for Eid al-Adha (in June). That way, we hope that our flagship Eid and Christmas celebrations will be spaced out throughout the year.

Our local co-ordinator said of last year's Eid:

"This means a lot to the children and staff because what we all need is happiness. TLC is a wonderful place where anyone wish to be."

More about TLC:

TLC supports 150 orphaned and vulnerable children, from pre-school to university level, in Tabora, a large city in Tanzania. We have 3 Day Centres where the children come for nourishing meals, healthcare, additional tuition, a safe place to play and all round tlc. All our children are sponsored and are given school uniforms and supplies so they can go to school. We also support our children as they leave TLC, helping them to graduate university and become independent adults through apprenticeships, vocational courses, and employment.

TLC does all it can, supported by sponsors and donors, to enable all our children to have the maximum opportunity to fulfil their potential and free themselves from poverty.

TLC is a UK registered charity entirely led by volunteers, so that all donations go directly to Tabora to help the children.
