my year of rave and relaxation

the past few years has been super horrendous for me :( i’ve been unimaginably burnt out, running on survival mode & on top of that chronically ill … i’ve been in the hospital more often than i’ve been in the club ,

fibroids are more common in black women than any other racial group, approx 60% of us have them. they are usually benign but i have a bad boy one causing me grief! submucosal fibroids live in the lining of ur uterus walls causing excessive uterine bleeding… the impact of this has been devastating for me with wait lists being 2+ years for specialist treatment.

i’m so grateful to be part of a supportive creative community in glasgow! my year of rave and relaxation is a kind of last minute fundraiser helping me recover from the trauma i’ve experienced. ⠀
