Donald's Medical Expenses

Hello there!! Donald needs some help! On November 20th, Donald went skiing for the first time this ski season. He moved to Denver from Ohio 3 years ago and last winter enjoyed skiing so much that he decided to splurge on the Epic Pass this year, a ski pass that will provide access to multiple resorts in Colorado to really experince Colorado ski life to it's fullest. Well, early on November 20th Donald was skiing alone and hit a dip in the ground causing him to catch some air, come down, and fall onto his back. He instantly expericened profound pain as well as loss of movment and sensation below his waist. He flagged down a skier to help who stabilized his body positition and got help. He was found to have a fracture of his T-12 vertebre with severe compression of his spinal cord causing paralysis. He underwent emergent surgery that night to remove the part of the vertebre causing compression. An unfortunate finding was made, however. It turns out that vertebre was so weak and broke so easily due a malignant tumor that was growing on that bone. Three days later after strict painful bedrest, a second spinal surgery took place to stabilize his spine and fuse the bones with rods and  screws,  a cage is also now in place of the tumor and T-12 vertebre which were removed.  After healing from spine surgery he will need to go to a rehab facility for further strength training to see how much he'll be able to recover. He is starting to move his legs a litte and can feel sensation in his feet. He will also need to undergo further treatment to be determined, including but not limited to: at least a month of radiation at the tumor site, bone marrow biopsy, PET scans, MRIs, and frequent doctor appointments. Any money raised will go strictly to hospital and medical bills.
