Eddie Martin - Brain Cancer Support and Care

I am honored, with family permission, to create this fundraiser to help Eddie Martin during his fight with brain cancer.

The Story:

June 3, 2022, was a typical Friday for Eddie. He was leaving work looking forward to spending the weekend with his beautiful wife, Franchesca, and their three children, William (17), Kynlee (11), and Aliyana (4).

Sadly, life changed in an instant.

Franchesca received a call that Eddie had an accident and was headed to the hospital. Soon words like; seizure, MRI, tumor, and surgery started entering the young couple's world. On June 7, Eddie underwent a craniotomy and was soon sent home with few answers.

Eddie has been diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma Grade 3, a rare brain cancer that only makes up 3% of all brain tumors. This aggressive cancer will likely need more surgery, chemo, and radiation. On July 15, Eddie has his first appointment with a neuro-oncologist at Baylor College of Medicine. Hopefully, this will provide a more precise treatment plan.
