Ear Relief Straps for Medical Centers COVID-19
Donativo protegido
My name is Trae Catellier, a hobbyist 3D printer in Vermont. When the Covid-19 virus started to spread around the world I stopped printing personally and started running my printer around the clock to donate these ear relief straps (ERS) to all local medical centers, hospitals, clinics, and as many essential businesses as I can reach. So far, I have been able to donate over 9500 ERS and counting, 100% free of charge to 70 medical centers and essential businesses in 10 states. Since I started this project, the need has gone from hundreds – to several thousands, and I am going to keep running at my current capacity until I reach everyone on my growing list. This go-fund-me was created to help me reach an obtainable goal of $2500 for new printers to up my production to fit the growing demand in a timely manor. Any donations above this goal will go directly into printing supplies, shipping cost, machine maintenance, and potentially more printers. The more printers that I have running around the clock, the more people I can help! Every dollar counts and every dollar goes directly to these donations. Once the demand for these is met, I plan to continue donating them to an expanding area as well as starting to print other medical supplies that our hospitals desperately need. When covid-19 dies down, I also have a plan to help animal clinics with the creation of quality of life products such as wheelchairs and temporary prosthesis.
