Hi, I’m Alec — I make music that’s often rooted in mental health, my personal struggles with depression & anxiety, and learning to find hope in hard times. If you follow me, you probably know I have a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. And if you know me really well, you know I have an extra soft spot for pit bulls.

Pitties are some of the purest, kindest souls out there — yet they’re also the most misunderstood. Because of breed restrictions

& stereotypes, pit bulls make up the largest percentage of dogs euthanized in shelters every year; it’s heartbreaking to see how often they’re overlooked & left behind just for being pitties.

For a while I lived with a pit bull named Paco who many of my listeners came to know through my posts. He was pure love — goofy, gentle, and endlessly patient. He passed away recently, and losing him hit all of us hard. Around that same time, I adopted my own pittie, Nami, and she’s truly become my therapy dog — a constant reminder of hope, patience, and joy in my everyday life.

As I release my upcoming EP Pittie Party, I wanted to use this opportunity not just to share new music, but to do something meaningful in Paco’s memory — and to help other dogs like him.

So, all donations from this GoFundMe will go directly toward Angel City Pit Bulls here in LA to help provide necessary supplies for these animals- and to help them find their forever homes.
