Help Me Fight Cancer

Hello everyone. This is very hard for me to write and I’m having trouble finding the right words to say. I’m a very private person and I don’t really like to ask for help or anything like that but this time in my life I need to swallow my pride. As most of you know I was diagnosed with Stage3 Cervical Cancer last year and had a hysterectomy last May. Since then I have been on chemotherapy and radiation as part of my treatment plan. For the most part I was doing well and tolerating the treatments as best as I could. Fast forward to November 5th of this year, I was admitted to the hospital and needed emergency surgery to fix a perforated colon. From my understanding the radiation therapy caused a lot of inflammation to the intestines/colon which left me susceptible to getting all kinds of other problems in that area. Right now I have a temporary colostomy to let my insides rest and heal. Eventually it will be reversed and hopefully I’ll be good as new. Since the surgery I’ve been in and out of the hospital 2 more times due to pain that is just not tolerable and not relieved with the meds they gave me. So here I am today asking you for help. While I have insurance from my job and it does pay a certain amount but I am very much struggling to pay the rest and with these additional hospitalizations, I have anxiety just thinking how am I going to pay all this back? I will be off work for some time and have decided to move back home with my family so I can have help while I’m still recovering from my surgery. As I mentioned earlier I am not one to ask for help, especially money but it would mean a lot to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it.
