Dwayne's Janazah
Donation protected
As-salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
This morning, approximately an hour before Fajr, I got the worse phone call a parent can receieve. A phone call that I dread recalling in my mind. My son, Dwayne Vincent Fairley was murdered. He was shot 3 times.
Inna lilayhi wa inna ilayhi rajioon
Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return." [Noble Quran 2:156]
As an unexpected event and much less one that most parents don't prepare for, he needs to be buried. As a muslim, he needs to be buried within the next 72 hours after death. This is something that can create a hardship on a family as it has mine.
It is with a heavy heart that I regretfully inform you that our brother Muhammad AbdulAzim (owner of Maktabatul Irshad Publishing) has lost his son, Dwayne.
Dwayne, at the young age of 21 years old, leaves behind his mother, father, step mother, 19 siblings, as well as beloved family to mourn his great loss. He is the son of Latasha Fairley of Red Springs, NC; Muhammad (Dwayne Baker) and Halimah AbdulAzim of Columbus, OH. He is the grandson of Georganna Douglas of College Park, MD and Joshua Baker of Louisburg, NC.
No donation is too large or small. All help is greatly appreciated and will solely be used for the burial expenses for Dwayne. Thank you all so much for your help during this time.
Please share if you are unable to donate as the time frame is short to raise this money and we need all the help that we are able to recieve.
And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient). [Noble Quran 2:155]
They are those on whom are the salawat (i.e., who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones. [Noble Quran 2:157]
