My name is Meka. On September,20,2025 while traveling in Tunis, Tunisia, I was drugged and kidnapped. I woke up in a situation I never imagined I’d face, and to this day I am still processing the trauma and working to gather the facts of what happened.
Since that night, I’ve been doing everything I can to stay safe and to start the long process of recovery. I have reported the incident to local authorities and I am pursuing legal action, but I need help covering the costs of that process as well as the immediate supports I require to heal.
Why I’m starting this campaign
The experience has left me physically shaken and emotionally shaken. I need to pay for:
• Legal fees to pursue justice and to work with attorneys who can help me navigate cross-border reports and evidence collection.
• Professional therapy and trauma-informed mental health care to recover from the emotional and psychological impact.
• Medical evaluations and any follow-up care related to being drugged.
• Short-term living expenses and travel costs related to court dates, consultations with lawyers, and therapy sessions.
• Any necessary documentation or translation fees to make legal claims across borders.
How the funds will be used
100% of donations will go toward the items above. I will provide updates and receipts where possible — including confirmations of legal representation, medical visits, and therapy appointments — to show how your generosity is being put to work.
Why your support matters
No one should face this alone. Your help will allow me to access the legal resources and mental health care I need so I can heal and pursue accountability. If you cannot donate today, sharing this page with friends, family, or on social media will make a huge difference.
Thank you
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for listening, and for any support you can give — whether it’s your time, a share, or a donation. I will keep everyone updated as I move forward. Your compassion is part of my healing.
With gratitude,
Meka
