Doug’s Medical and Rehab Recovery

Hi! I’m Abi Linski and on July 23, 2022 my dad was in a serious skydiving incident. During the landing portion of his jump, the wind took him into a tree, breaking L2 and L3 of his lumbar spine and his left leg, specifically the tibia. He began crawling around with just his arms screaming for help, not being able to move his lower half. Luckily, someone found him and was able to call 911. He was then life-flighted to AGH in Pittsburgh, where he underwent surgery on both his back and leg. My dad, being a carpenter, may never be able to return to work at the capacity that he once was. He has overcome many injuries before, but he is in for a long road to recovery. We are just asking for help to offset some of the medical costs that come along and keep our family afloat during the trying times ahead. We are so lucky that he is okay and that it wasn’t worse. ❤️
