Doughty Family Fire

At 2 am Monday morning (10/29/2018) I got a life changing call from my mom in tears. She said she was staring at her home that was up in flames. We bought that home when I was in the 5th grade. In the mist of the fire, my mom, dad, brother (Trent), brother (Corey), and brothers girlfriend (Tati), lost everything. All of their clothes, pictures, furniture, electronics, all gone. Immediately, after hearing the news, my mind goes to God. Why? Why us? Not us? Hebrews 13:5. God has His hands in this, I believe it to my core. Everyone got out safely. Which is the most important thing. This is the thing i keep trying to drive home to my parents. Material things can be replaced, but family cannot. Personally, this is really really hard for me. It may be a pride thing, it may be cause I played in the NFL and I feel like I should be able to provide. But thats not the case. I am helping as much as I can, just may not be enough. As the investigation goes on and the insurance company gives their apprasal, just want to help my family buy shoes, clothes for everyone to help them get back on their feet. Just want them to be able to feel like themselves again. They are living in a foreign place, with a tramatic thing that has happened. Please help our family with a prayer first. God has his hands on us. We want to see beyond the smoke, the merky water, but we cant. God sees it so clear and he loves us so much! I know He would not do this to anyone who could not handle it. My family is strong, but could use your prayers! Thank you for your help, it is so unbelievably appreciated and God bless.
