DOORS Ministries: Joshua Home

Don protégé
DOORS Ministries is currently transitioning from being a US based 501(c)3 nonprofit to a local Ugandan NGO.

One of the changes that has been implemented is the closing of the DOORS Mission School, a rehabilitative school for street children using the Accelerated Christian Education Program. The children whom were schooling from the  DOORS Mission School have been transitioned back into local Ugandan schools.

As a ministry and a family, we believe the best thing for our oldest boys is to continue under the Accelerated Christian Education Program. Within the A.C.E. program, they will have the opportunity of finishing school within the next two years.

We are fundraising the money that they need to finish the A.C.E. program, which will help them graduate high school within the next two years.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 by May 15th so that we can buy the curriculum we need for our boys to finish high school and raise the money that they need to continue to be supported through the Joshua Home while they finish their education.

This amount of $625 a month for the next two years will cover their curriculum, diplomas, testing, teacher salary for their homeschool classroom, food, house rent, and a small budget for miscellaneous needs for the classroom and home.

These boys have come a long way since they left the streets. They have fought so hard and diligently worked in school to make up for many years of education that were missed when they were living on the streets. We want to help them keep walking forward to a better future.
