As many of you know, Donna has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and has begun the journey of this fight.
The battle with cancer is a difficult road. It becomes a constant in your life, appointments, treatments, and unexpected medical expenses. The focus for her, is about getting healthy...and beating this disease!
Now is when she needs our prayers, encouragement and support.
For anyone who knows my sister, there is no one with a bigger heart than her. She has always been there for anyone who has needed her, selflessly. Her compassion and sense of humor, has been a constant blessing in all of our lives.
Through these past weeks, she has been concerned about everyone else, and how we're doing with all of this. Typical, Donna...strong and selfless.
How we are doing? We are coming together and making YOU, Donna, the priority.
To all of us, Donna is a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a cousin and a friend. To my sister, those titles are very gray, being a part of her life, means you are a part of the one family.
When someone one has cancer, the whole family and everyone who loves them does too!
