After an overwhelming outpouring of support, RunnerCity has decided to activate — but as always, our approach is targeted and immediate. While many incredible groups are collecting supplies (which are absolutely needed), our focus is simple: put money directly in the hands of families displaced by the devastating floods in Kerrville and surrounding areas.

Many have lost homes, cars, and local jobs. They’re now sheltered in churches, gyms, or staying with anyone who’ll take them in. What they don’t have right now is freedom of choice — to grab gas, pay a phone bill, or simply buy their kids a toy for a sense of normalcy.

We want to change that.

The Goal:

We aim to distribute $100–$250 Visa Gift Cards directly to flood victims using a compassionate, low-barrier verification process to ensure these cards reach those truly impacted — not weeks from now, but within days.

This is a bridge of dignity and hope until federal or state assistance arrives.
