In April of 2024, Kevin & Terra Ferguson found out that Terra had Stage 4 Colon Cancer that had spread to her sigmoid colon, appendix, uterus, cervix , fallopian tube and ovary. She has bravely undergone numerous surgeries to remove all those organs. She has had 13 rounds of Chemotherapy and while scans and blood work were coming back clean, they opted for an exploratory surgery and found that there was colon cancer still floating around in her peritoneal cavity and on the lining. On March 14th of this year, she had a procedure to remove any remaining organs still having cancer(peritoneal lining, spleen, gallbladder, 1/3 of small intestine, and parts of her bladder, colon and rectum) and apply a 107 degree chemotherapy "bath" to the area.

This procedure worked to remove the cancer but it has been a bumpy road forward. Her body has been through a lot and its taking longer than they had hoped to recover.
