Help Tanner get to Ohio for radiation
Donation protected
UPDATE 6/13:
Tanner finished his last round of ‘the red devil’ yesterday. He suffered some severe side effects from the chemo so we’re glad to have that marked off the list!!! Next they’ll travel to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital June 22-24 to get ready for radiation. While there they’ll be meeting with the oncology and radiation teams, having lots of tests and labs done, and will be fitted for his radiation mold/mask. Then they’ll go back around first week of July to start proton radiation. Normal radiation will cause too much damage to his heart and lungs. They will stay there for 4-6 weeks while he gets daily radiation. They can’t apply to get on a waiting list for housing assistance such as Ronald McDonald house until there’s exact dates.
Amy has not been able to work since all of this began. Tanner had a rough time with chemo with multiple trips to Vanderbilt ER. The money will help with fuel/lodging/food, copays, missed work, etc
Tanner has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and will be beginning chemotherapy immediately. The chemo will last 15 weeks followed by daily radiation treatments for 6 weeks. His upper body is full of cancer but fortunately it’s not in his bone marrow.
He will be in Nashville at Children’s which means a lot of traveling and time missed at work.
Anything you can donate to help would be greatly appreciated.
