Hello, my name is Taniqua Tielyr Terry! I am a single mother of two beautiful children! June 2023 I went in for same day surgery and my life has changed tremendously for the worse. From hospitalized time over time again, feeding tubes, blood infections, seizures, heart failure, sepsis to now unemployed due to a mistake from a UPMC provider. Last Monday I had a doctors appointment that leaded me to have an emergency surgery that left me almost lifeless with a pneumonia and sepsis. I was discharged this following Monday and clocked back in to work Tuesday to be let go today at 9:00 am. I had FMLA but they only give you so many weeks and I utilized all of mine last October of 2024. My health insurance will be out the end of this month and I have a long way to go health wise that Medicaid just doesn’t pay for! If you can find it in your heart to help me while I go through the process of unemployment and SSD please! I have two children a 12 year old son and soon to be 6 year old daughter who I fight for every day if you can please help me anything helps!! I am even willing to tell my health story chronic illness is serious and not taken serious please help in any way shape or form!
