Hi there, my name is Sylas! I'm a queer black trans man from the south and I'm attempting to continue my transition journey but I'm not at a place where I can afford the very large ticket of gender confirmation surgery in America. And because of the transphobia steeped into the medical industry, and the looming consequences of the election I've decided to seek care outside of the states. This fundraiser is to cover the cost of surgery alone. I know times are tough right now and we're in the middle of a world altering election but if anything that means that I can't put this off for much longer because who knows what the future holds these days.
