As many of you know, Jessica has been living with Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the lungs since December 2018. She has been able to endure this journey thanks to the unwavering love and support of her community, as well as the dedicated care of her doctors and their staff. Over the years, Jessica has undergone numerous procedures to improve her quality of life, and thankfully, her medical insurance has covered these costs, allowing us to manage without needing external help.

However, the situation has changed, and we now find ourselves in need of your assistance. Jessica requires a crucial procedure that her medical insurance will not fully cover. We are urgently trying to raise funds to cover this procedure and any additional costs that may arise.

Recently, we learned that the chemotherapy Jessica has been receiving is causing her teeth to break and decay, leading to significant pain and discomfort. Her dentist and oral surgeon have determined that standard fillings or crowns are not viable options due to the rapid progression of the damage. They strongly recommend removing all her teeth and providing full dentures to improve her quality of life and allow her to eat normally again.

This dental issue has deeply affected Jessica's mental and physical health, leading to anxiety, depression, and weight loss. She has been avoiding family gatherings and social events because of how her condition has made her feel. It has taken a lot for her to allow us to create this GoFundMe, as Jessica does not want to appear vulnerable. She has always strived to be a pillar of strength for others, and asking for help is incredibly difficult for her.
